The best humor is based on reality.  That’s why, while this cartoon is meant to be funny, it should be no surprise that similar conversations actually happen all the time when it comes to marketing. Often, companies have poured millions into product development, demographic studies, marketing ideas…but they’ve missed the fundamental question, “is this something my audience or public wants?”  Marketers live and die every day by missing that mark.
